Why? Women wanted to have civil's rights on votes. Men didn't except it. They didn't want them to have rights. Also President Wilson ignored whatever women did and allowed men to arrest women for no reason. 

What? The problem was in women's suffrage. Women were suffering. They couldn't do anything, except for living, eating, walking, talking, etc. Basic things. However, they weren't allowed to make separate schools for girls or girls weren't allowed to join boys' school. 

When? It happened in 1917. We know this because Kathleen is writing diaries. On every single thing that happened and that is related to Women's Suffrage mostly. 

Where? It happened in America. It was before the Great War started and and when the Great War was about to happen. When the Great War happened, they were trying to bring signs there. The problem was that they couldn't live like that ther whole life. It would be boring and scary. 

How? President Wilson didn't really care about women's opinion. So did Uncle Bayard. He thought that women's opinion was wrong. He didn't even want to listen to women's opinion. He thinks women are stupid, because they don't go to school. When it's actually government's fault for not letting women to study and go to school and be rich.
